I see a free version v. 8 and then three paid versions. The paid versions have descriptions between them but what makes the free version different than any of these? Thanks.
The paid versions of SmartEdit are all Microsoft Word Add-Ins. The free version is a standalone app called SmartEdit Writer.
Thanks for the response.
Feel free to check these links out when you have time to understand the different products.

Once again I am trying to understand what the difference is between the Free SE for Word vs the three Paid versions. I am ot referring to SE Writer. Only the SE for Word.

Thanks in advance.
There is no free version of SmartEdit for Word. There is a 10 day trial, which is free, but after the trial you buy a license.
