When a bug occurs in SmartEdit Writer, an error report will usually be written to a log file. I may ask you to email that file to me for investigation.
The log file sits in the “SmartEdit Writer” folder inside your Documents folder. A new log file is created each day, and only the last 3 log files are stored. Today’s log file will contain the date as shown above - “AtomicLog-2017-9-3”, where today is September, 2017. The icon next to the log file will be different on each PC.
